The Story of AGD
Hello and welcome! I’m Amanda Garrity, the creator and owner of Amanda G Design, LLC. I’m so glad you’ve stopped by, and I’d love to share a bit about my journey with you.
I’ve been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, starting with traditional studio art and later discovering graphic design during my college years. I graduated from Marist College in 2018 with a degree in Studio Art and a minor in Graphic Design, and have been working as a graphic designer in New York ever since. In early 2020, I combined my love for both studio art and graphic design to explore the world of digital art.
That same year, I created an Instagram account to share my work, not knowing where it would lead. Today, @amandag.design has become one of the most rewarding aspects of my career, connecting me with an incredible community of artists and inspiring me to continually elevate my craft. This growth sparked a desire to take my art beyond social media and share it on a global scale, leading to the creation of Amanda G Design, LLC. I took my designs and illustrations and began selling graphic sweatshirts, prints and more. I made the decision to manage all aspects of product fulfillment, including in-house printing, packaging, and shipping, to provide a personalized and authentic customer experience.
The journey to launch my business was an exciting one, filled with passion and dedication. I’m grateful for the experience, but in 2022, I faced a tough decision to pause AGD as I took on a new role that demanded my full attention.
Fast forward to 2024, and I’m thrilled to be back—and better than ever! This time around I’m offering my most popular prints and sweatshirts through Printful, a trusted on-demand printing and fulfillment partner. This allows me to focus more on what I love—creating and connecting with you.
In addition to my signature art products, I’m excited to introduce AGD Studio, where I’ll be bringing your creative visions to life for any occasion or event. Whether it’s custom designs, personal projects, or something unique, I’ve been helping friends and family with these requests for years, and I’m now extending this service to you!
